Follow Our Student Blog

Follow Andrew Shadid as he blogs and shares photos each day of the conference as part of the student delegation.
Andrew is a Freshman at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. He is hoping to receive an interdisciplinary degree, through which he will focus on the question: "Can Jesus be the bridge used to connect all religions, tribes, and ethnicities?" Andrew is an avid photographer and enjoys portraying "love" amidst conflict. This trip to Palestine will be Andrew's third in the past year.
The Christ at the Checkpoint Student Delegation is a group of students and young adults experiencing the conference and and the Holy Land together as they develop relationships with their peers who understand the unique challenges of being a voice for their faith in their own community. In addition to participating in the conference, highlights of the student experience will include visits to Jerusalem, Galilee and Hebron.
Andrew's blogs will be available daily online at the Christ at the Checkpoint website and on Facebook.
